The kit resolves all issues that prevent an S62B50 engine swap into the BMW E36 and Z3.
It allows for front-to-back adjustment of the engine position in the bay. This is a “bolt-on” product, meaning it requires no welding or grinding.
The oil pan includes mounting points for solenoid valves and features channels that direct oil to the pump, drawing oil from the rear of the pan and the block, just like the stock pan.
The kit includes an oil pan, pump modification, engine mounts, polyurethane engine bushings, front subframe with welded engine mount brackets, front balancer, gaskets, and a set of bolts and nuts.
What does “pump modification” mean? The only change we make is to the shaft. All components responsible for pumping oil remain stock.
Modifications to the subframe are limited to welding new engine mount brackets. All steering system components remain in their stock location.
The swap requires custom exhaust manifolds and a smaller-diameter steering column.
The kit is designed for track use. Due to the engine’s height, the hood reinforcements need to be cut. If you would like to avoid this, contact us – we can create bushings to lower the subframe for you.
