Thermo-Tec insulating bandage withstands temperatures above 1100’C well
Additional carbon fiber increases the strength of the band and prevents discoloration.
Its main use is to insulate exhaust manifolds and downstream components of the exhaust system.
It effectively lowers the temperature under the hood and accelerates the evacuation of the exhaust system, which has a positive effect on power.
In the case of turbocharged engines, Thermo-Tec tape improves the operation of the turbine by increasing the exhaust energy.
Recommended for exigent units.
