MX-5 NC roll bar – windscreen extension

Bolt-on extension for our MX-5 NC ST roll bar. It connects roll bar with windscreen, in the most crucial place – where there’s no roof. Compatible with folded and unfolded roof.

What are the benefits of this solution? Firstly it increases safety. During the rollover, tubes hold both windscreen and roll bar in their place. This is exactly what you need – a roll cage-like construction.

Secondly, this solution increases body stiffness. Extension tubes connect the rear part of Miata with its a-pillars. It results in reduced body flex and better road feel. This is something that you’ll appreciate during the track day.

Extensions are easily removable – each tube can be taken off by undoing 3 screws. You can easily take them off for everyday us – they will not influence your everyday use of your Miata.

Tubes are bent to provide as much head clearance as possible.

Roll bar has to have mounting points welded in. Please order this extension together with the roll bar.
